24 hr Duty
A Maternity Nurse will work 5-7 days a week on 24-hour and overnight duty. Bookings range from 2 weeks to 6 months at the request of the client. Live-in Maternity Nurses can either have their own room or share with the baby/babies in the nursery.
Support
The Maternity Nurse will take care of all the baby’s nursery duties i.e. clothes, equipment, bottles and sterilisation procedures. She will provide newborn sleep support and newborn routine guidance. She will also support the mother when breastfeeding, or in case of bottle-fed babies, prepare all feeds for the baby.
