Interview
policy:
Regency Nannies will interview nannies
for jobs in person prior to introducing
them to parents. If this has not
happened for any reason, the Agency will
inform the parents accordingly.
Reference
checks:
Regency
Nanny will check at least two references
to confirm the candidates competence,
suitability and trustworthiness for the
Nanny job. Written references will be
faxed or emailed to the client, and for
peace of mind, they should satisfy
themselves by counter-checking
the references.

Identity checks:
The
Agency insists on two forms of
personal identification.
First Aid :
We will verify that the candidate has a
valid First Aid qualification, if not,
we will provide the family with the
relevant information regarding
paediatric first-aid courses.
Suitability of Candidates:
We will
put forward candidates that are suited
to the Nanny job in question.
Suitability is defined in terms of the
nanny's personality, flexibility,
qualifications, experience, meeting the
needs of the baby/child/children in
question.
CRB
checks:
Enhanced Disclosure from the
Criminal Records Bureau:
Nannies
will have a copy of their Enhanced
Disclosure from the Criminal Records
bureau. Or it will be underway before
commencement of employment.
Terms and
conditions and scale of fees and
guarantee terms, will be provided to the
parents by the Agency by fax, email, or
by Royal Mail.
Nanny
Employment Contracts:
The
Agency will assist, with the provision
of a suitable contract of employment for
the parents and the Nanny, which will be
signed by both parties prior to
commencement of employment
